How to integrate your domain reseller account with WHMCS

Hello dear valued partner, you are reading this post because you have an active domain reseller account with us. Read and follow all the instructions carefully.

Step 1 – Activate domain reseller WHMCS module

To get started with your domain reseller account with WHMCS, at first you have to activate the domain reseller module in your WHMCS. The domain reseller module is already present in your WHMCS by default.

Follow these steps :

Hover on the Settings icon
Click on the System Settings option

In the sidebar search bar, enter Domain Registrars and click on it

On that page, you will see a lot of Domain Registrars, find ResellerClub & Activate it

Congratulations 🎉 Your WHMCS module has been activated successfully.

Step 2 – Whitelist your Server’s or Hosting’s IP

To start using the WHMCS module, you have to whitelist your server’s or hosting’s IP. This is mandatory. Ensure that you have properly whitelisted all IP addresses intended for sending API requests from your WHMCS.

After a successful login, you will be redirected to your reseller control panel
Hover on Settings in the header menu bar
Click on API

On that page, you will be able to whitelist your IP addresses.
Enter your IP Address(s) on the blank fields. You can add one or more IPs here. You whitelist up to 3 IP addresses. In most cases, users know their hosting’s primary IP where your WHMCS is hosted. Enter that IP on that page. *Contact your hosting provider if you can’t find your IP address.
Click on Save Whitelisted IP Addresses button

Congratulations 🎉 You have successfully whitelisted your IP addresses.

Step 3 – Configure the WHMCS Module

You have completed almost 80% process till now. Just configure your WHMCS module and strat accepting orders from your users.

Go back to your WHMCS
Navigate to the Domain Registrars page again. (Settings > System Settings > Domain Registrars)
Find ResellerClub module
Click on Configure

You will be able to see this type of interface. Here you have to enter the Reseller ID & API key to complete the whole process.

Go back to your reseller control panel
Click on the profile image to get your Reseller ID

Copy your Reseller ID
Go back to your WHMCS
Paste the Reseller ID in the appropriate field.

Now you have to enter the API key. Follow these instructions :

Navigate to the API page (Header menu bar > Settings > API)

Click on the View API Key button
An API Key will be generated for you
Just Copy it

Go back to your WHMCS
Paste your API Key in the appropriate field
Click on Save Changes

Step 4 – Add funds to your account

To strat registering domain names with us, you have to just add funds in your account.

Navigate to your reseller control panel again
Go to the Homepage by clicking home icon
Click on Add Funds button

Select your desired Payment method/gateway
Click on the Continue button

Enter the amount you want to add to your account. You can add any amount. No minimum fund value is required.

Complete the transaction
Your funds will be added to your account successfully.

Great, everything is done. Start registering domain names now.
